It was incredibly warm on the weekend. Out at the block the wattle continues to bloom and I see that among the shrubs there are another two types of wattle which are working on flowering soon. I also discovered these flowers on what I thought to be a native cypress sapling. I didn't know they flowered like this. I checked the bigger trees and they don't have flowers so perhaps it is something entirely different.
There is amazing diversity across this acre of ground - certainly not a monoculture.
