The flower parade continues. I am so excited to find so many different types of flowers on our acre. I spotted this one in the grass. It has different leaves from the other purple peas, I think it might be a Swainsona.
I agree the diversity is astounding but so many of these flowers are tiny little things hiding the grass ... not the great carpets of flowers seen in the desert of the west.
I am astounded at just how many you are finding. And our state does not have a reputation for wild-flowers at all.

ReplyDeleteWhen I come back to find where I got up to, this little flower reminds me of the cultivated sweet-pea that was my father's flower of note.
